- Allergic rhinitis:
- Adults: 2 actuations in each nostril per day
- Adults: 2 actuations in each nostril per day

- Start 1 actuation in each nostril OD
- Max: 2 actuations in each nostril/day

- Nasal spray:
- 55mcg/spray
- Discontinue after 3 weeks if no improvement
- Shake well before use
- Before using for first time, prime pump by releasing 5 sprays into air away from face
- If not used for >2 weeks, repeat priming by releasing 1 spray into air before using
- Consider use of a nasal vasoconstrictor for 2 to 3 days before initiating therapy in patients with excessive nasal mucous secretion or nasal mucosa edema
Corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory properties
It inhibits multiple inflammatory cytokines; produces multiple glucocorticoid and mineralocorticoid effects.
