- Maintenance treatment of bronchospasm associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD):
- 1 puff (9mcg per actuation) inhaled OD. Max: 18mcg/24 hours OR
- PO 2 inhalations of 1 capsule (18mcg) OD via HandiHaler. Max 1 cap/24 hours
- Maintenance treatment of asthma:
- Adults and ≥12 years: 1 puffs (9mcg per actuation) inhaled OD
- Max: 2.5mcg/24 hours
- Adults and ≥12 years: 1 puffs (9mcg per actuation) inhaled OD
- Capsule for inhalation:
- 18mcg

Do NOT take capsule by mouth.
