- Topical inflammatory dermatoses:
- Cream/ointment: Apply thin film to affected areas BD/QID
- Oral inflammatory or ulcerative lesions:
- Dental paste: Apply as thin film enough to cover the lesion nocte
- May increase to BD/TDS if lesions are severe
- Dental paste: Apply as thin film enough to cover the lesion nocte
- Cream/Ointment: 0.1% w/w
- Dental paste: 0.1% w/w
- To use the dental paste, press a small dab onto the mouth ulcer but do not rub in the medicine.
- The dab will form a thin film that should be left in place for several hours.
- Dental paste is usually applied at bedtime and/or after meals
