• Mild oropharyngeal candidiasis:
    • 6 months-2 years: PO 1.25mL 4 times daily *7-14 days
    • >2 yrs and adult: PO 2.5mL 4 times daily *7-14 days

Oral gel:

  • 2% w/w
  • The oral gel should be kept in the mouth for 2-3 minutes and then swallowed, or in young children, applied to the tongue and inside of each cheek.

Imidazole antifungal

It binds to lanosterol 14 alpha-demethylase, inhibiting ergosterol synthesis and disrupting fungal cell membrane integrity.
