- Post-cataract extraction ocular inflammation/pain:
- 1 gtt into affected eye OD start 1 day prior to surgery, continued on day of surgery and through the first 14 days post-surgery
Eye drops: 0.09 % w/v
- Remove contact lenses before applying the eye drops and wait until 10 min before inserting contact lenses.
- Discard 4 weeks after opening bottle
- Eye drops should be used before eye ointments
- If using more than 1 eye drop, they should be administered at least 5 minutes apart

It inhibits COX-1 & COX-2 reducing prostaglandin and thromboxane synthesis
