- Moderate rheumatoid arthritis:
- 100 mg daily * 3/7 initially, then 10-20 mg OD
- For rapid removal of drug from system e.g. for a woman/man trying to get pregnant or severe side effects, cholestyramine may be used at a dose of 8 g PO TDS * 11/7
