- Hypertension:
- 1 tab OD.
- Max 40mg/25mg
- Increased every 2 weeks
Tablet:
- 20mg/12.5mg
- 40mg/12.5mg
- 10mg/12.5mg
Best taken in the morning due to the diuresis effect of hydrochlorothiazide (peaks in 4 hours)

- Elevated ALT/AST
- Elevated BUN/Cr
- Photosensitivity
- Severe hypotension
- Electrolyte imbalance
- Anaphylactic reaction
- Skin reactions
- Hypersensitivity to olmesartan, hydrochlorothiazide or sulfonamides
- Breastfeeding (HCTZ >50 mg/day)
- Anuria
- CrCl <10
- Acute transient myopia and acute closed angle glaucoma in patients with history of sulfonamide or penicillin allergy
- Aliskiren
- Isocarboxazid
- Amikacin
- Lithium
- Erythromycin
- Halofantrine
- Pentamidine
- Terfenadine
- Mannitol
