Initiallly: 250mg BD/TDS * 2/7.

Adjusted in intervals of not less than 2 days until an adequate response is achieved. Maximum recommended daily dosage: 3g

Tablet: 250mg

Starting dose or increasing dose should be done in the evening with the larger dose taken in the evening due to its sedative effect.

Centrally acting antihypertensive. Alpha-2 receptor agonist.

It causes a decrease in sympathetic outflow and decreased blood pressure.
