Eplerenone: It selectively binds to the mineralocorticoid receptor, thereby blocking the binding of aldosterone and thus inhibiting sodium reabsorption and other deleterious aldosterone-mediated mechanisms
Torsemide: A sulfonylurea loop diuretic, acts from within the lumen of the thick ascending portion of the loop of Henle, where it inhibits the Na+/K+/2CI–carrier system. Compared to other loop diuretics, torasemide has a more prolonged diuretic effect.
