• Prophylaxis & treatment of angina:
    • Immediate release: 60mg TDS. Max 360mg/day
    • XR: 120-480mg OD. Max 540mg/day
  • Hypertension:
    • 120-480mg OD/BD. Max 540mg/day for XR and360mg/day for controlled release

CR tablet: 90mg, 120mg, 180mg

SR tablet: 60mg

Capsule: 200mg, 300mg

SR capsule: 300mg

To be taken before meals and at bedtime

Non-dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker

It inhibits calcium ion influx into vascular smooth muscle and myocardium, relaxing smooth muscle, decreasing peripheral vascular resistance, dilating coronary arteries and prolonging AV node refractory period (class IV antiarrhythmic)
