- Uncomplicated influenza A & B (seasonal flu)

- Increase to 150mg BD if hospitalized with severe disease or immunocompromised, including pregnant patients
- Prophylaxis of influenza A & B (seasonal flu):
- PO 75mg OD *1/52 after last known exposure
- Capsule:
- 75mg
- Started within 48 hours of exposure
Antiviral.
It inhibits influenza neuraminidase found on the surface of the virus, which prevents budding from the host cell, viral replication and infectivity.
