• HIV infection as pharmacokinetic enhancer of other PIs:
    • In combination with other antiretroviral agents:
      • Initially PO 300mg BD increased by 100mg BD to 600mg BD over 5 days as tolerated
    • Use as booster with another protease inhibitor:
      • PO 100-400mg OD/BD
    • Age ≥1 month:
      • Initially PO 250mg/m² BD then increase by 50mg/m² every 2-3days to 350-400mg/m² BD
      • Max: 600mg BD
    • Adolescents:
      • Initially PO 300mg BD then increase by 100mg BD to 600mg BD over 5 days as tolerated

Tablet: 100mg

  • Taken with food
  • Gradually increase dose to avoid nausea/vomiting
