Insulin Aspart: Rapid-acting insulin analog. It mimics the body’s natural insulin response to meals. It lowers blood glucose levels by enhancing the uptake of glucose into muscle and fat cells and suppressing liver glucose production.
Protaminated Insulin Aspart: An intermediate-acting insulin. It provides prolonged, basal insulin action by forming a crystalline suspension with protamine, which delays its absorption and offers extended blood glucose control throughout the day.
