- Bacterial infections caused by gram-negative bacteria and Staphylococci strains:

- Avoid UV exposure or sun exposure because of the risk of photosensitivity during treatment and for 4 days after stopping treatment.
- Best taken in the middle of a meal or right after a full meal to avoid causing gastrointestinal upset
Fluoroquinolone.
It inhibits DNA gyrase (topoisomerase II) and topoisomerase IV activity necessary bacterial DNA synthesis. This in turn promotes breakage of DNA strand.
