- Limit the consumption of eating a high-fat meal as this makes it harder for your body to absorb the drug
Cefixime: 3rd generation cephalosporin with broad-spectrum gram-negative activity. Inhibits cell-wall synthesis by binding to 1 or more penicillin-binding proteins thus bactericidal.
Ofloxacin: Fluoroquinolone. It inhibits DNA gyrase (topoisomerase II) and topoisomerase IV activity necessary bacterial DNA synthesis. This in turn promotes breakage of DNA strand.
