• Seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and perennial allergic rhinitis
  • Treatment of nasal polyps in adults.
  • Prevention of seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults and children 12 years and older.

Dose:

  • Adults and children (12 years and older):
    • 100mcg sprays in each nostril OD 
    • Once symptoms are controlled, reduce to 1 spray in each nostril daily.
  • Children (2-11 years):
    • 50mcg spray in each nostril OD

Spray:

  • 50mcg
  • Shake the bottle well before each use.
  • Blow your nose gently to clear your nostrils before using the spray.
  • Avoid spraying directly into the eyes.

Corticosteroid

It reduces inflammation by inhibiting the release of pro-inflammatory substances. It decreases swelling and mucus production in the nasal passages.

  • Nosebleeds
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • Nasal irritation or burning
  • Hypersensitivity to mometasone or any of the excipients.
  • Recent nasal surgery, trauma or untreated nasal infections.
  • Ketoconazole
  • Other nasal corticosteroids
