- Dysmenorrhea
- Spasmodic abdominal pain and cramps associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or GI disorders
Dose:
- PO 1 tab TDS
Tablet:
- 10mg/250mg
- 10mg/500mg
- Take with food or after meals to minimize GI irritation.
Dicyclomine (Anticholinergic/Antispasmodic): It relaxes smooth muscles in the gastrointestinal tract, reducing spasms and cramping.
Mefenamic Acid (NSAID): It inhibits the production of prostaglandins, leading to a reduction in pain and inflammation.
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Indigestion
- Dizziness
- Dry mouth
- Drowsiness
- GI bleeding or history of peptic ulcers.
- Severe renal or hepatic impairment.
- Glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, or other conditions aggravated by anticholinergic agents.
- Hypersensitivity to NSAIDs or dicyclomine
- Warfarin
- Atropine
