• Relief of pain, itching, and discomfort associated with haemorrhoids, anal fissures, and other minor anorectal conditions.
  • Reduces swelling and protects irritated anorectal areas

Dose:

  • Apply a small amount to the affected area BD/TDS, preferably in the morning, at bedtime, and after each bowel movement

Suppository Form:

  • Insert 1 suppository into the rectum TDS, preferably in the morning, at bedtime,and after each bowel movement.

Ointment:

  • Balsam Peru 1.875% w/w
  • Bismuth Oxide 0.875% w/w
  • Zinc Oxide 10% w/w
  • Bismuth Subgallate 2.25% w/w

Suppository:

  • Balsam Peru 1.875% w/w
  • Bismuth Oxide 0.875% w/w
  • Zinc Oxide 12.5% w/w
  • Bismuth Subgallate 24.4% w/w
  • Cleanse the affected area with mild soap and warm water and pat dry.
  • Apply a thin layer of ointment to the affected area.

Balsam Peru: Promotes healing by increasing blood flow to the affected area and has mild antiseptic properties.

Bismuth Oxide: Acts as a protective layer over the affected area, reducing discomfort and promoting healing.

Zinc Oxide: Provides a protective barrier over the skin, reducing irritation and inflammation.

Bismuth Subgallate: Has astringent and mild antiseptic properties, helping to protect and heal the irritated area.

  • Mild rectal irritation or discomfort
  • Staining of clothing due to the ointment base
  • Hypersensitivity to zinc oxide, bismuth subgallate or any other components of the formulation.
  • Severe rectal bleeding
  • Avoid concurrent use with other topical anorectal products unless directed
  • Minimal systemic absorption; drug interactions are unlikely.
