- DOSAGE
- Adults: PO 5–10 mL every 8 hours
- Children 6–12 years: PO 2.5–5 mL every 8 hours
- Children 2–6 years: 2.5 mL every 8 hours (with caution)

- Bromhexine HCl: 4 mg
- Promethazine HCl: 2.5–5 mg

- CNS depressants (e.g., alcohol, sedatives): May increase drowsiness with promethazine
- Anticholinergic agents: Additive effects with promethazine
- MAO inhibitors: Avoid use with promethazine due to increased risk of adverse CNS effects
- Antitussives: May counteract the expectorant effect
