• Elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension:
    • 1 gtt TDS in affected eye

Eye drops: 1% w/v

  • Remove contact lenses before applying the eye drops and wait until 10 min before inserting contact lenses.
  • Discard 4 weeks after opening bottle
  • Eye drops should be used before eye ointments
  • If using more than 1 eye drop, they should be administered at least 5 minutes apart

Carbonic anhydrase inhibitor

It inhibits carbonic anhydrase in the ciliary processes, decreasing aqueous humor secretion and reducing IOP
