- Elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension:
- 1 gtt TDS in affected eye
Eye drops: 1% w/v
- Remove contact lenses before applying the eye drops and wait until 10 min before inserting contact lenses.
- Discard 4 weeks after opening bottle
- Eye drops should be used before eye ointments
- If using more than 1 eye drop, they should be administered at least 5 minutes apart
Carbonic anhydrase inhibitor
It inhibits carbonic anhydrase in the ciliary processes, decreasing aqueous humor secretion and reducing IOP
