- Systemic fungal infection such as Aspergillus spp, Candida spp and/or Cryptococcus spp:

- Visceral leishmaniasis:
- Immunocompetent patients: IV 3mg/kg/dose every 24 hours on days 1-5, 14, 21
- Immunocompromised patients: IV 4mg/kg/dose every 24 hours on days 1-5, 10, 17, 24, 31, 38

It should be injected slowly over 2 hours
