- Chronic venous insufficiency of lower limbs with heavy legs, early morning restless legs, pain and nocturnal cramps
- 1 tab at midday and 1 in the evening
- Acute hemorrhoidal attack.
- 2 tabs TDS * 4/7 THEN 2 tabs BD * 3/7
- Prevention of recurrence: 1 tab BD *3/12
Tablet:
- 450mg/50mg
- To be taken with food.
It is a flavonoid which works by blocking the action of chemical messengers (prostaglandins, thromboxane A2) which cause inflammation (swelling) of the veins. This improves blood flow in the veins and restores normal vein function.
Well tolerated but some report of: diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea & vomiting.

No known drug interactions. Has no glucose and only 2mg of sodium therefore safe for diabetics and hypertensive patients even up to 6 tablets a day.
