• Chronic gastritis, duodenal and gastric ulcer:
    • Adults: PO 2g BD OR 1g QID 1 hour before meals and at bedtime *4-12 weeks
      • Max daily dose: 8g
    • Children*:
      • 12 -14 years: PO 1g 4-6x a day
      • 2-12 years: PO 500mg 4-6x a day
      • 1 month-2 years: PO 250mg 4-6x a day
  • Prophylaxis of GI hemorrhage from stress ulceration
    • PO 1g six times daily
    • Max daily dose: 8g
  • Suspension:
    • 1g per 10mL
  • Taken 1 hour before meals and at bedtime
