Spironolactone: Potassium-sparing diuretic. It binds to mineralocorticoid receptors and promotes sodium and water excretion and potassium retention

Torsemide: A sulfonylurea loop diuretic, acts from within the lumen of the thick ascending portion of the loop of Henle, where it inhibits the Na+/K+/2CI–carrier system. Compared to other loop diuretics, torasemide has a more prolonged diuretic effect.
